"I have been taking advantage of the Bohemian Baby™ baby food offer for a week free delivery service and just fell in love with their food. After trying to boil, mash, blend and cook some food for my baby, I have decided that these initial stages of solids were not meant for me. I found everything I tried to create in one place. It saves me time in running to the store and I can trust that it is organic and fresh without the mess in the kitchen.
It looks and tastes great. It is being made fresh right before delivery and has an expiration date on it which helps you plan ahead. All the food tastes great, even for adults ( I had to taste it!!!) The mango is amazing and my daughter just can't get enough of the bright orange carrots.

The delivery is amazing. It comes on a great bag with a cooler. All the jars are recyclable (reminds me abit of the old days of having the milkman come over). You get a reminder about picking your menu for the week and another reminder to place your bag with empty jars the night before outside your door so that the delivery man can pick it up early morning and replace the empty jars with fresh new jars of food. A standard delivery fee is only $4.00. A 5oz jar is only $3.5. A 9oz jar is only $4.5 They have a minimum of 4 jars per delivery.

I met the owner of the company, Anni, on a professional basis and found her to be lovely and knowledgeable. She a savvy and wise mom and that adds a lot to the experience of making baby food.

Anyways, not too sure if the offer still stands for a free trial, but if it is and you are just exploring baby food, you should totally give it a try!

Please let Anni know I recommended her baby food. I don't get anything out of it. I am just a very happy customer who likes to share a good thing and want her to know that.

“Our family loves Bohemian Baby™ food! We receive our shipment every Tuesday morning and we live in West Chester, PENNSYLVANIA! Our 8 month old son, Joey, has been eating bo-baby for 3 months now. After we first tried Bo Baby™, I attempted to give Joey some store bought food. He would not touch it (and for good reasons). This food is refreshing and delicious. Just after I launched the site, Anni Daulter contacted me to see if I would like to try Bohemian Baby. I emailed Anni and explained that I have a picky 2 year old eater living with me and that I wouldn't want her to waste her product on us. She said not to worry and a few days later my packaged arrived.

Here is what I received in my package:

The results:
As I was opening the package I expected to see the typical pureed baby food that everyone is used to seeing. The first thing that I picked up were the bite sized Sweet Potato Cakes. Next, the Basil Pesto Pasta made of teeny tiny little pieces of letter shaped pasta. I looked at the label of the next item, Green Bean Soup... Madeline will never go for that. The Peach-Raspberry Yogurt was pink and looked delicious. The peaches and apples were similar to other baby foods that you can buy in the store. The containers are labeled with the dates that the food was made and when they should be used. The food is good for 8 days.

I cracked open the Peach-Raspberry yogurt immediately with the Sweet Potato Cakes because they looked so good. Madeline ate the yogurt bite after bite and it was gone in under 3 minutes. I have to admit that I helped myself to a few bites. It was delicious. The raspberry taste was really fresh. Next Madeline and I snacked on the Sweet Potato Cakes. They reminded me of potato pancakes without the greasiness. They were light and fluffy on my tongue. Madeline enjoyed these too but I tucked them away to finish with dinner.

For dinner that night we tried the Pesto Pasta and finished the Sweet Potato Cakes. The pasta was great and what I liked about it was that it has a mature flavor. By that I mean, you can taste the hints of basil and garlic and sun dried tomatoes which are not flavors typical of most baby foods. I think that this opens your child up to a much broader range of tastes and may therefore set them up for being more adventurous eaters as they grow.

Madeline and I enjoyed the Peaches next which had a much richer flavor than other baby foods that I have tried. They seemed less watered down, like there was more fruit in them. Now, the Green Bean Soup, I knew wasn't going to fly with Madeline, and it didn't. I honestly think she saw the color of it and decided that it wasn't going to happen. I guess you can't expect miracles! I did try it and I liked it, definitely better than other store bought varieties but I won't be ordering it for myself. The apples were gobbled up and I spread the Black Beans over an organic whole wheat tortilla with cheese sprinkled over it and Madeline had that for lunch a few times last week.

Conclusion:
You aren't going to find a more creative menu or a more healthy way of preparing it, unless you are making your own baby food and are an inventive cook with lots of time to experiment. If you have it in your budget this is the way to go. The only drawback of this service would be the cost of overnight shipping if you are not located in LA or Orange County. Like I said, if the pricing fits in your budget you are not going to find a service that offers the convenience or the quality.
